Meghan started as an athlete in CrossFit in 2014. Her original goal in ‘the sport of fitness’ was to become a better, and stronger, skier and ski coach, it worked. The longer Meghan participated in CrossFit, the more she was happily reminded of the fact that good movement in one sport, translates to others. It didn’t take her long to decide she wanted more. Meghan wanted to coach athletes to move better and function easier in all areas of life, not ‘just’ sport. So In 2016, Meghan earned her first CrossFit coaching credentials. She now has her CF Level 1 & 2 as well as her USA Weightlifting Level 1. She is also an ATA Trainer (Adaptive & Inclusive Trainer). While her experience and credentials on snow are more extensive than those in the gym, Meghan is constantly striving to read more, learn more, and do whatever she can to become a better coach, and athlete in this environment. She considers herself to be a forever student. Outside of the gym, Meghan coaches ski racing, is a ski instructor, a freelance writer, and also runs her own organization, Skiing is Believing. Her life revolves around being active, helping others do the same, and also her dogs, who are almost always with her in the gym. When she is not at RPHF, you can most likely find Meghan skiing, or travelling somewhere for skiing.
